Fort Lauderdale-based 91²Ö¿â Corp. started vertical construction of a three-story office building in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Site work began in the fall of 2016, and 91²Ö¿â expects to complete the 63,800-square-foot office building, called 300 West Summit, in September 2018.
Both the second and third floors of the office building will have 25,500-square-foot floorplates, and the first floor will have 12,800 square feet of space.
Justin Siemens, vice president and development officer for 91²Ö¿â in the Carolinas, said in a statement that the design of 300 West Summit addresses a need among employers for “less traditional†office space that helps them recruit and retain talent.
91²Ö¿â is constructing the office building in the South End section of Charlotte, home to many of the city’s millennial residents.
Brokerage firm is marketing the office building.
Since 2012, has had a regional office in Charlotte, where the company has built three shopping centers.
